Introductory Flight (Austin, TX)

About Your Session

Be one of the first to fly HEXA - our groundbreaking, personal aerial vehicle. The introductory experience is offered in groups of up to 6 pilots with training consisting of an instructor-guided orientation, ground school, and virtual reality flight simulator, followed by 3-5 minutes of solo flight time. You will learn how distributed electric propulsion aircraft fly, and master basic maneuvering - push button takeoffs and landings, ascending and descending, lateral flight, rotation and coordinated turns, as well as emergency procedures. The introductory flight experience is the perfect way to familiarize yourself with flying HEXA. Even though you're confined to a "geo-fenced" flight area with limitations on altitude and speed, we guarantee that introductory flights are still a ton of fun. Beginner, Normal, Advanced, and Expert Flight Modes require additional training and each successively unlocks more speed, range, and altitude, as well as more advance autonomous and group features.
